Marketing Coordinator

Reports To: Marketing Technology Manager 

Location: West Des Moines, Iowa

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for project managing, developing, and executing various marketing campaigns that support the overall marketing strategy. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Content Developer, Marketing Technology Manager, and VP of Marketing, as well as support the sales team members through daily marketing activities.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with internal and vendor relationships – Provide digital partners with updated creative and links Keep media grid updated with insertion, specs, materials due dates, impressions, and spend (requests to Co-design/content 4 weeks prior to material due dates) 
  • Request reporting from vendors 
  • Plan and assist with dealer events, meetings, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, making hotel reservations (as needed) and coordinating requirements, collateral, participant lists, schedules, email notifications to participants, assignments, etc. 
  • Understand marketing platforms and schedule, co-develop, and responsible for uploading social media posts 
  • Assist Marketing Content Developer with gathering and organizing competitive insights monthly 
  • Assist Marketing Technology Manager with database uploads, team requests, and qualifying leads 
  • Assist with website updates as needed 
  • Work with Marketing Content Developer to create and execute all internal and external newsletters 
  • Assist with Pardot email blasts and automations from existing templates 
  • Responsible for updating project management tool with activity updates (example: Monday.com) 
  • Order promotional materials, monitor and organize collateral inventory, and research new items as requested 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A completed Associate or bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field from an accredited university 
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, B2B marketing experience preferred 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Project Management tools and Marketing platforms  
  • Experience with Salesforce and reporting a plus 
  • Strong analytical skills with regards to success metrics 
  • Knowledge of home improvement, or similar blue-collar type industry 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Self-driven, motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Excellent time and project management skills
