Funding Operations Analyst

Reports To: Director of Customer Operations

JOB SUMMARY

The Funding Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily funding operations of the organization, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role involves monitoring funding requests, reconciling accounts, and coordinating with internal departments and external partners to facilitate smooth funding activities. A strong understanding of lending operations, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a technology-driven, high-volume setting are essential for success in this role. The analyst will also contribute to the continuous improvement of operational workflows and help ensure compliance with regulatory and investor requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process, review and execute the funding process for newly submitted requests
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in order to fund loans in a timely and efficient manner while working with dealers and/or customers to collect all necessary pre-funding requirement documentation
  • Fund and book transactions within required timeframes with accuracy
  • Ability to review documentation and identify errors
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners as needed to ensure accuracy of funding
  • Demonstrate the 3 Ps of customer service: Professionalism, Patience and have a “People-First” Attitude
  • Escalate more complex or difficult issues to their Team Leader
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work flexible schedules, weekends and holidays as necessary in order to meet business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related or comparable field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Ability to work in a face-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail

DETAILS

  • Hours can range from 9AM-7PM, but will be flexible for the right candidate.
  • Starting at $22 per hour plus up to 7.5% of annual salary paid out on a monthly basis, based upon performance, after the first 90 days of employment
